Ramya Dwivedi is a science communicator with a background in chemistry and nanoscience. She holds a Ph.D. from CSIR–National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, where her work explored the functionalization of nanoparticles with antibiotics, turmeric, and enzymes, and their biological applications. She has continued working across interdisciplinary areas, including cell and molecular biology, spectroscopy, nanotechnology, and water quality.

Over the years, she has moved fluidly across research, teaching, and writing—having taught nanoscience, contributed to scientific publications, crafted visualizations, and served as a peer reviewer for journals from RSC and ACS.

Today, she focuses on science communication, writing to bridge the gap between scientific rigor and accessible understanding.

With a deep love for science and storytelling, Ramya enjoys translating the intricacies of science into engaging narratives that inform and inspire. She is particularly interested in connecting with young minds and nurturing curiosity through meaningful engagement.

Based in Chennai, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her two daughters.
